We celebrated my Mother in laws Birthday!! She really isn't that old, but I did mention to Braden and Stephanie that she is old enough to be a grandma.... maybe one day it will happen. Instead of going out to dinner we decided to have Crab Legs, Lobster and Steak at the house. It turned out pretty good and I hope everyone enjoyed it, especially Mary! Thanks for being a great Mom in law, raising such an amazing family and including me in it, We LOVE YOU!!!

Lucy came over and hung out one day and of course we had to make CUPCAKES!! Maybe its because I'm the aunt and not the mother, but you have to lick the beaters!!!
She is absolutely Hilarious! She cracks me up like every other second! She was pretty insistent on tasting each ingredient that we put into the frosting. She knew what the butter was but still needed to taste it, She was intrigued by the vanilla- I told her it smelled really good but it wasn't good to taste so she skipped that one. The Crisco involved a semi-confused face and her saying the word nasty! And the powdered sugar, well....... That wasn't disappointing at all!
Britney celebrated her Birthday, Steph and her friends threw a Surprise party for her! Brit is such a fun girl and I absolutely love calling her my cousin! I remember when we were dating, Braden made such a big deal of the first time he took me to meet her. I also found out later through texts on his phone that he was waiting to get serious with me until he had Brit's approval. Luckily we get along just great and I love hanging out with her! Happy Birthday Brit, and thanks for including us in all your fun activities!
The cake I made for her surprise party.
You probably don't remember or maybe don't care, but quite sometime ago I posted a picture of this.......

Well we got it back and it now looks like this......
I actually really like the way it turned out. It is supposed to look like it is standing on the edge of the ice and if you look in the water, there is even like dirt and rocks so it looks pretty real. It is a shelf mount but we have yet to find a wall to hang it on. Mostly I just worry about ?$$? falling off the wall if we don't get it placed right in the studs. P.S. I named him Chester. Finally!
At the first of May I enrolled with a few of my sisters and of course Britney in a Cake Decorating Class. Actually a very Sweet, kind lady that Grandma Smith is friends with offered to teach us for free! It was such a great experience and SO much fun to learn new things and hang out with the girls each week! Thank you so much Beth for being patient with us and sharing your amazing skill!
BARBIE CAKES

Becki was so kind to throw a Princess Party after so the little girls, and Justin, could enjoy our barbie cakes, dress up in their princess clothes, and play princess games.
FLOWERS AND BASKET WEAVE
We made all the different flowers on our cakes and then learned how to weave a basket to put them in.
Brit's

COLORING BOOK TRANSFER
I loved this one because it taught us that basically anything you can print an outline of, you can put on a cake! My Dora was definitely the ugliest this week, and Morgan informed me that I did her clothes the wrong colors- but the others turned out really cute! Thanks Girls for doing it with me, and thanks Beth for you time, we really enjoyed it.

(becki, I need a picture of your mini mouse!)
