4th of July

On the 4th Braden started his day by waking up at 6:30 to help cook breakfast and I stayed home and got ready for the day. Then we were able to be a part of West Weber's first parade. Braden's parents and Colton came to watch it with us because Dave, our brother-in-law drove a tractor in it.
This is an actual cannon and every so often they would shoot it off and it was very loud! Colton did not really like the noise so much, as they drove by he was anticipating the shot...

After the parade, we headed home for a short nap before we headed over to Aunt Terry's for lunch and the Smith water fight. Then for dinner Maren and I went to get slouvaki dinners from Farr West and brought them back to my house to enjoy with Braden. Then it was off to Hooper for a Greg Simpson concert and fireworks. It was a fun day, and I am so glad we get to be a part of this great country and enjoy the freedom that we do!
